Karen has over 30 years of practical HR experience and has provided leadership in the areas of compensation, benefits, and risk management.  Her experience includes roles in private and publicly traded companies, as well as local government and non-profit organizations.   She has been a contributing member of executive management throughout her career, including working through due diligence processes involving mergers and acquisition endeavors.

Karen’s experience across various lines of business has contributed to a broad spectrum of hands-on and leadership capabilities to assist employers through discovery, identification of areas for process improvement, project management, and implementation. Karen has the ability to assess organizational needs and provide a business proposition to strengthen a company’s ability to foster an environment reinforcing high-performing and engaging employee experiences. Karen also serves on local boards and has chaired local and trade association HR committees.

Areas of Expertise

Karen earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University in Health Administration and a minor in Business and is a certified HR professional through SHRM. She has completed several World at Work programs, including Sales Compensation, Performance Management, and Global Rewards.
